Terms of service
These terms explain how Havn works for guests and hosts. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them.
Last updated: October 19, 2026
1. What Havn is
Havn is an online marketplace. Hosts publish places to stay; guests search for them and make reservations. The stay itself is an agreement between the guest and the host — Havn provides the platform, keeps track of availability and helps both sides through support.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information, including a working email address.
- Keep your password private — you are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms or are used for fraud.
3. Booking a stay
- The price shown on a listing is per night; the total for your dates is shown before you reserve.
- A reservation is confirmed once it appears in My trips.
- Respect the number of guests stated in the booking and the host’s house rules.
4. Changes and cancellations
To change or cancel a reservation, write to us in the support chat with your booking dates and the listing name. We will coordinate with the host and confirm the outcome in the same conversation. Please contact us as early as possible — the closer to check-in, the harder it is for the host to rebook the dates.
5. Hosting
- You must have the right to rent out the place you list.
- Descriptions, photos, prices and amenities must be accurate and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for local rules, permits and taxes that apply to short-term rentals.
- Honour confirmed bookings — the calendar is blocked for the guest’s dates.
6. Content and conduct
Don’t post anything illegal, misleading or that you don’t have the rights to. We may remove listings or messages that break these terms.
7. Liability
Havn is not a party to the rental agreement between guest and host and is not responsible for the condition of a property or the conduct of its users. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continuing to use Havn after an update means you accept the new version.
